Professor Begley's Banner

About Mr. Begley: For the past nine years I've been teaching computer science classes at Sacramento City College. I have taught Computer Skills for New Users, Computer Familiarization, Introduction to the Internet, Introduction to Web Page Creation, Introduction to Web Design, Cascading Style Sheets, Dreamweaver, MS Word, Excel and Operating Systems. I also taught various networking classes, operating systems and additional web development classes at Heald College. Approximately four years ago, I left Heald to work for the El Dorado Irrigation District (EID) in a combined Webmaster/IT Support position.

While teaching continued to be a fulfilling career, I've found there is a market for virtual tours. I then formed a partnership and created CyberView 360 while working part-time as at EID and SCC. After about year and a half of working the business part-time, I left EID to work fulltime at CyberView 360 while teaching at SCC. Although I did well with teaching and running my virtual tour company, the real estate market did not provide the stablity that I needed for family of five.

Conveniently, the Office of Legislative Counsel offerred me an ITS position approximately three years ago. I provide first and second level computer support, training, gather requirements, test applications, manage various website projects and lead the enewsletter and web content teams.
